Offer-Specific Details

Each active promotion will identify its material terms, which may include the offer amount, eligible products or customers, start and end dates, time zone, promotional code or automatic application method, minimum purchase, redemption limit, exclusions, and whether it may be combined with other savings. If an active offer's specific terms conflict with these General Promotion Terms, the offer-specific terms control only for that offer.

This page may remain available when no limited-time promotion is active. In that situation, only the ongoing savings or programs expressly shown as available continue to apply.

Promotion Period, Availability & Redemption

Limited-time promotions begin and end at the dates and times displayed with the offer. Unless otherwise stated, times are Eastern Time. Offers are valid while supplies last, and adding an item to a cart does not reserve inventory, pricing, or a discount.

Promotional codes must be entered correctly before payment is submitted. Automatic offers must appear in checkout before payment is submitted. A discount cannot be added retroactively after an order is placed, except where required by law or expressly approved by us. No rain checks are provided unless an offer specifically states otherwise.

Eligibility, Exclusions & Order Minimums

Unless an offer expressly states otherwise, promotions are valid only on qualifying purchases made directly through theapawthecary.co in the United States and are void where prohibited.

Unless an offer expressly includes them, gift cards, subscription or recurring orders, clearance or final-sale items, bundles, apparel, pet products, custom or special orders, limited releases, wholesale or resale orders, and already-discounted items are excluded. Taxes, shipping charges, and prior purchases are excluded from merchandise discounts. Local-pickup orders may receive a merchandise discount only when it is accepted at checkout; shipping offers do not apply to local pickup.

Any minimum purchase is based on the qualifying merchandise subtotal calculated at checkout. Excluded items, taxes, and shipping charges do not count toward a minimum unless the active offer states otherwise.

Combining Discounts

Unless an active offer expressly states otherwise, only one merchandise promotional code or automatic merchandise discount may be used per order. Welcome offers may not be combined with another merchandise discount. Subscription savings, store credit, and free-shipping offers combine with another offer only when the active offer allows it and checkout successfully applies both before payment.

Use Limits, Transfers & Promotional Abuse

Promotions have no cash value, may not be exchanged for cash, and may not be applied to a previous purchase. Unless an offer states otherwise, promotional codes are limited to one redemption per customer, email address, and household. Recipient-specific, single-use, or account-based offers may not be transferred, sold, reproduced, or distributed without authorization. Additional redemption limits may be applied per account, shipping address, payment method, or order when stated with the offer.

We may reject or cancel a discount or order when the published requirements are not met or when there is evidence of fraud, duplicate-account abuse, automated redemption, code manipulation, unauthorized resale, or exploitation of a technical error. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, the canceled amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Ongoing Savings Programs

Free-shipping eligibility, available shipping method, and qualifying subtotal are determined at checkout. A shipping offer has no cash value and does not create a credit when local pickup or another shipping method is selected.

First-order or email welcome offers are limited to eligible new customers and are generally limited to one redemption per customer or household. Subscription savings apply only to eligible recurring products and are governed by the subscription terms presented at enrollment. Ongoing programs may be changed or discontinued prospectively, subject to applicable law.

Returns, Swaps & Refunds

Purchases made with a promotion remain subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy. Final-sale items remain final sale. A refund or swap credit will not exceed the eligible merchandise amount actually paid after discounts. Original shipping charges and other nonrefundable fees are excluded as provided by our posted policies and applicable law; an approved candle refund includes applicable sales tax attributable to the returned candle.

Order-level discounts may be allocated among eligible items. If a return causes an order to stop satisfying a conditional offer, such as a minimum spend, quantity requirement, free gift, or buy-more-save-more offer, the refund may be recalculated based on the items kept. A promotional gift may need to be returned unused or its disclosed value may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

Only unused, unburned candles qualify for traditional change-of-mind refunds in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Other eligible products may qualify for our Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™.

Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™

Customers may request one swap per order within 21 calendar days of delivery, and that request may cover multiple eligible products from the same order. No return of the original product is required. Swap credit applies to the eligible merchandise amount actually paid and excludes original shipping charges, taxes, and fees. The credit expires 14 calendar days after issuance, must be used in one transaction, and may be combined with another eligible discount when checkout permits. Customers are responsible for shipping, taxes, fees, and any merchandise difference on the replacement order. Items identified as final sale or otherwise ineligible do not qualify.

• Regularly priced eligible items qualify for swap credit equal to 100% of the merchandise amount paid.
• Eligible items purchased at 50% or more off the listed Compare-At price qualify for swap credit equal to 70% of the merchandise amount paid.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within two calendar days of the carrier’s delivered status. Photo proof of the product, shipping label, outer package, and internal packaging may be required. Approved claims will receive the remedy provided by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any nonwaivable rights available under applicable law.

Pricing Errors, Technical Issues & Changes

We may correct typographical, pricing, inventory, or technical errors and may suspend or end a promotion prospectively. We may cancel an affected item or order if a clear error caused an unintended price or discount, if inventory is unavailable, or if the offer was used contrary to its published terms. If payment has been captured for a canceled item or order, the canceled amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Changes to a promotion apply to orders submitted after the change and do not reduce a discount validly applied to a completed order, except where necessary to address a clear error, fraud, abuse, or a legal requirement.

Other Store Policies & Giveaways

Purchases and site use are also governed by our Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refunds Policy, Processing & Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy. If a promotion is a giveaway, contest, or sweepstakes, separate Official Rules will apply and will control over these General Promotion Terms for that event.
