The Apawthecary Co. is first and foremost a skin and body care brand. Our soaps, lotions, balms, oils, scrubs, bath products, and solid shampoo bars are designed around ingredient purpose, comfortable textures, and realistic everyday use.
That does not mean every formula must be short or entirely plant-based. It means every ingredient should earn its place. Oils, butters, botanicals, emulsifiers, surfactants, chelators, antioxidants, and preservatives are used according to what the product actually needs.

Home fragrance is not an afterthought here. Our candles pair a coconut-soy wax blend with fragrance selected for candle use and a wick and vessel combination tested for that design.
We do not describe candles as universally “clean,” toxin-free, or automatically safe for every person or pet. We tell you what we use, follow product-specific safety guidance, and provide care instructions for responsible use.
The goal is simple: fragrance that supports a cozy room and feels like part of the same thoughtful home ritual as the rest of the brand.

Our core products are formulated, blended, infused, poured, filled, finished, or packed in Bel Air, Maryland, depending on the format.
We work with U.S.-based suppliers for our ingredients and materials, but many botanicals, plant oils, butters, spices, and other agricultural ingredients naturally originate in growing regions around the world. We believe the honest version of that story is more useful than an oversized origin claim.
We choose organic herbs when available and identify organic ingredients where documentation supports it. A product containing an organic ingredient is not represented as a certified-organic finished product unless it is specifically labeled that way.
Third-party apparel or merchandise is sourced separately and is not represented as part of our in-house handcrafted production.
