One-Time Swap Guarantee
At The Apawthecary Co., we want you to feel good about trying new candles, body care, and pet treats — even online. If something isn’t the perfect fit, our Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™ makes it easy to try something new without the hassle of returns.
This program offers a simple, one-time product swap for eligible items.
1. How the Paw-mise Works
If you try a product and do not love it, you can request a one-time swap for another item of equal or lower value. A ten dollar swap fee applies to help cover shipping and handling. No return is required — you keep your original item.
2. What Products Are Eligible
The following items qualify for one swap per order: candles; body products including balms, oils, lotions, and scrubs; and pet treats and sprinkles.
Swaps must be the same size as the original item and must be of equal or lower value.
3. What Is Not Eligible
The following items cannot be swapped under this program: seasonal, holiday, or limited-edition products; clearance items; products damaged due to improper use; and items purchased more than fourteen days ago.
4. Swap Fee
A flat ten dollar swap fee applies per order, not per individual item. This fee helps cover the cost of the replacement product, packaging, and shipping and handling. Tax may apply depending on your location.
5. How to Request a Swap
To request a swap, email us at theapawthecaryco@gmail.com with your name, your order number, the item you would like to swap, and the replacement product you prefer.
After we review your request, we will send you a link to complete the ten dollar swap fee. Once the fee is paid, your replacement item will be processed and shipped according to our standard processing timelines.
6. Timeline
Swap requests must be submitted within fourteen days of delivery. Each order qualifies for one swap under the Paw-mise. Once your swap is approved and the fee has been paid, we will process and ship the replacement as soon as possible following our usual processing windows.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
The Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™ does not apply to damaged or incorrect items.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within seven days with your order number, photos of the damaged or incorrect item, and photos of the packaging. We will replace or refund the damaged item at no cost to you.
