By visiting our site, using any part of it, or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Shipping Policy, Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™, Privacy Policy, and any additional policies posted on our website.

2. Online Store Terms
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
You agree to provide accurate and complete checkout information and not to use our products for illegal, unsafe, or unauthorized purposes.
Resale of products without written permission from The Apawthecary Co. is prohibited.
Candles and other home fragrance products are not intended for purchase by minors.
3. Handmade Product Information
All products are handcrafted in small batches. Natural variation in color, texture, scent strength, and appearance is normal and expected and does not indicate a defect.
Candles
Hand-poured using a coconut–soy wax blend. Candles may continue settling after pouring.
Wax Melts
Flame-free home fragrance products designed for use with wax warmers only.
Soaps & Shampoo Bars
Some soaps may be available as preorders while new batches are being prepared.
Typical timelines:
Standard soaps: typically ship in 7–10 days
Luxury soaps: ship on the date listed in the product description
If soaps are not listed as preorder, they ship within 1–4 business days.
Body Care Products
Texture and firmness may change with temperature during transit or storage.
Pet Treats
Made with pet-safe ingredients. Supervision is required during use. Treats are not intended for human consumption and do not make medical or therapeutic claims.
Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists and determining suitability for their individual pet, including allergies or sensitivities.
Apparel
Apparel items are custom printed and fulfilled by a third-party partner.
We reserve the right to modify product details, pricing, or availability at any time without notice.
Promotional pricing, discounts, and limited-time offers are subject to change without notice and may not be applied retroactively to prior purchases.
4. Safety & Liability Disclaimer
By purchasing from us, you agree to follow all safety instructions provided on product labels and product pages.
Candles
Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable materials. Containers may become hot during use.
Wax Melts
Use with a wax warmer only. Do not ingest or apply to skin.
Body Care
Patch testing is recommended. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to alter the structure or function of the body.
Pet Treats
Always supervise pets and review ingredient lists for sensitivities or allergies.
Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

5. Processing & Shipping
Processing times refer to order preparation and are separate from carrier delivery time.
Most in-stock products ship within 1–4 business days unless otherwise noted.
Some items may be offered as preorder while new batches are being prepared or restocked. Preorder items ship on or around the estimated date listed on the product page.
Orders containing preorder items may ship together once all items are ready.
Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for:
Carrier delays
Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
Packages marked delivered but lost or stolen
Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.
6. Returns, Refunds & Swaps
Candle Refund Policy
Unused, unburned candles may be eligible for refund within 21 days of delivery.
To qualify:
The candle must be completely unused and unburned
The candle must be returned in original condition
Return eligibility is determined after inspection at our discretion.
Refunds apply to the merchandise amount paid for the candle only. Shipping charges and taxes are non-refundable.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only after inspection.
Candles that have been burned or used are not eligible for refunds but may qualify for swap credit under the Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™.
Love It or Swap It Paw-mise™
Eligible products may qualify for one swap credit per order within 21 days of delivery.
Regularly priced items qualify for 100% swap credit equal to the original merchandise subtotal paid.
Items purchased at 50% or more off their listed Compare-At price qualify for 70% swap credit.
Swap credit:
applies to merchandise subtotal only
excludes original shipping charges, taxes, and fees
must be used in a single transaction
Customers are responsible for redelivery shipping costs.

7. Pawtron Perks Rewards Program
The Pawtron Perks™ rewards program allows customers to earn points for purchases and select activities.
Rewards, point values, redemption requirements, and program rules may change at any time without notice.
Points have no cash value and may only be redeemed according to the terms of the Pawtron Perks program.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the rewards program at our discretion.
8. Subscription & Bundle Pricing
Some products may be offered through subscription delivery or bundle pricing options.
Subscription orders automatically renew according to the delivery interval selected by the customer until canceled.
Customers may manage or cancel subscriptions through their account portal.
Bundle pricing and quantity discounts apply only to the specific products and quantities indicated at checkout and may change without notice.
9. Billing, Fraud & Order Accuracy
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders that contain:
pricing errors
suspected fraud
violations of these Terms & Conditions
We may dispute fraudulent chargebacks and provide documentation to financial institutions when necessary.

We use third-party providers for payments, shipping, analytics, fulfillment, and communication.
We are not responsible for the policies, actions, or performance of these providers.
