We partner with U.S.-based creators and businesses whose content aligns with intentional body care, supportive herbal rituals, cozy home fragrance, and pet-thoughtful living. Approved partners earn commission through Shopify Collabs while representing every product honestly and responsibly.

A Simple Path for Growth
Tiers are based primarily on quarterly net attributed sales and are reviewed at the beginning of each standard calendar quarter.
Starter
Under $250 in quarterly net attributed sales
Growth
$250–$499.99 in quarterly net attributed sales
Partner
$500 or more in quarterly net attributed sales
What Qualifies
Commission is calculated on valid net eligible merchandise revenue.
- Calculated after product discounts and before taxes, shipping, tips, gift wrap, and fees.
- Eligible tea, pet, subscription, clearance, and other merchandise may earn commission.
- Gift cards, apparel, Paw-mise™ swap-credit value, and other expressly excluded items do not earn commission.
- Canceled, refunded, returned, disputed, charged-back, fraudulent, or unpaid amounts do not earn commission.
30 Days, Last Valid Referral
Shopify Collabs tracking and the approved creator code determine attribution.
An eligible link click may be attributed for up to 30 days, subject to browser settings, cookies, device changes, privacy tools, code use, and Shopify Collabs functionality.
When more than one creator could be associated with an order, the last valid affiliate click or approved creator code recorded by Shopify Collabs controls. We do not manually override reliable platform attribution merely because a customer reports another influence.
15% Off a First Purchase
Approved creator codes may offer qualifying new customers 15% off their first eligible order.
The discount is limited to one qualifying first purchase per customer and may not be combined with an active sitewide promotion or another ordinary promotional discount unless expressly permitted.
Gift cards, apparel, subscriptions, clearance or final-sale items, Paw-mise™ orders, custom orders, and other identified products may be excluded. Discount eligibility and technical combination rules displayed at checkout control.
Allowed When Genuine
Affiliates and household members may make legitimate purchases through an affiliate link or code.
Such orders must be authentic personal purchases, fully paid, and otherwise compliant. Orders created, reimbursed, split, cycled, repeatedly returned, manipulated, or arranged primarily to manufacture commission, tier advancement, code use, reimbursement eligibility, or performance metrics may be excluded and can lead to suspension.

Commission Only
Creators who already own or purchase products may earn the commission rate assigned through Shopify Collabs on valid attributed sales.
Gift Plus Commission
We may provide selected products and an affiliate offer. Gifting is discretionary, may depend on fit or performance, and does not guarantee future gifts.
Gift for Content
When expressly offered, the creator receives product in exchange for three preapproved videos of at least 15 seconds each. Products must be clearly shown and demonstrated. No commission applies unless the written offer says otherwise.
Purchase Reimbursement
When approved in advance, a creator buys the product and may receive a one-time reimbursement of the product subtotal after three valid confirmed attributed sales. Tax and shipping are excluded.
Processed Through Shopify Collabs
Eligible commissions use Collabs automatic payments.
Commissions remain subject to the holding period configured in Shopify Collabs, currently intended to be 30 days, so cancellations, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks can be reviewed. After the holding period and Shopify billing process, Collabs pays creators who have activated automatic payouts.
Creators are responsible for maintaining accurate payout details and completing required platform onboarding. Payout timing can vary because of Shopify processing, verification, billing, bank or PayPal processing, disputes, or missing creator information.
W-9 & Tax Responsibility
A completed W-9 is required before we authorize commission payouts.
Creators are independent contractors responsible for their own federal, state, and local taxes, registrations, reporting, and expenses. Shopify Collabs may collect tax information and impose additional platform restrictions when requested information is missing.
We or Shopify may issue applicable tax forms and report payments as required by law. Nothing in the program creates employment, agency, franchise, partnership, or authority to bind The Apawthecary Co.
Clear Disclosures and Accurate Representation
Every endorsement must be truthful, substantiated, and appropriate for the product category.
Disclose Clearly
Place an easy-to-understand disclosure such as “ad,” “paid partnership,” “affiliate link,” or “gifted by The Apawthecary Co.” where viewers will notice it with the endorsement. Do not hide it only in a profile, link page, group of hashtags, or after a “more” cut.
Share Real Experience
Do not claim to have used a product you have not used or describe an experience you did not have. Opinions must be honest, and material facts, limitations, and gifted status must not be concealed.
No Medical or Veterinary Claims
Do not state or imply that tea, skincare, body care, home fragrance, or pet products diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or replace care for any disease or condition. Do not invent efficacy, safety, “chemical-free,” or professional-review claims.
Follow Approved Information
Use current product pages, labels, approved assets, and written guidance. Do not alter logos or imagery in a misleading way, misstate ingredients, promise results, or describe a product for an unlabeled species or use.
Brand Reuse Rights
Submitting affiliate content grants us defined marketing permission.
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, the affiliate grants The Apawthecary Co. a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, repost, edit for length or format, display, distribute, and use submitted or tagged affiliate content in organic and paid marketing, advertising, email, website, and social channels.
The affiliate represents that they own or control the necessary rights, permissions, music, images, likenesses, and other material. We will not intentionally edit content to materially misrepresent the creator’s genuine opinion.
A Separate Sales Channel
TikTok Shop affiliate activity is governed through TikTok.
This direct program applies to links and codes tracked through Shopify Collabs. TikTok Shop sales, commissions, attribution, payments, and disputes are governed by the applicable TikTok Shop offer and platform terms and are not duplicated through this direct program.
Program Rules
Prohibited Conduct & Administration
These terms protect customers, creators, attribution integrity, and the brand.
Coupon & Deal Sites
Do not publish, submit, or permit creator codes on coupon, cashback, browser-extension, or deal-aggregation sites without written approval.
No Forced Tracking
Cookie stuffing, forced redirects, invisible links, misleading buttons, unauthorized toolbars, adware, or other methods that place tracking without an intentional customer action are prohibited.
Branded Advertising
Do not bid on The Apawthecary Co., Apawthecary, product names, domains, trademarks, misspellings, or similar branded search terms, and do not run paid advertisements using our content without written approval.
No Impersonation
Do not register domains, social handles, profiles, pages, listings, or advertisements that impersonate us, imply ownership, or could reasonably confuse customers about the source.
No Spam or False Engagement
Unlawful or unsolicited email and text marketing, fake reviews, purchased or automated engagement, false traffic, fabricated orders, misleading testimonials, and unauthorized giveaways are prohibited.
Monitoring & Records
We may review content, traffic, codes, orders, refunds, and performance, request supporting information, and open a Collabs payment dispute when activity appears suspicious or noncompliant.
Changes & Termination
Either party may end the relationship at any time. We may change rates, tiers, offers, exclusions, attribution, or terms prospectively. Properly earned undisputed commission is paid under the applicable Collabs terms; fraud or violations may result in forfeiture.
